Colors

At Cotton Basics, we dye every garment using natural dyes. Colors rotate every couple of months.

Most online items are cut and sewn in white and dyed after you place your order. We dye in small batches on weekends at our Oakland manufacturer (typically 5–10 lbs per color), so we may wait until enough orders accumulate to run a batch.

All colors are dyed in Oakland except black, which is dyed by our partner facility in Los Angeles.
